Proper Magazine Issue 50 - Celebration Cover

The one you've all been waiting for. Twenty(ish) years in the making. What started as a fanzine printed on a £40 home printer has now, somehow, turned 50. As it's name suggests, this issue is a Celebration of everything that makes Proper, Proper.

Inside, you’ll find a guide to Manchester’s finest spots; the top 50 films of the last twenty years; a celebration of Kickers; Nigel Cabourn’s latest collaboration with Mammut; a deep dive into the fabric of Rab; a comparison between Alaska and Anglesey; and a colossal journey to Switzerland to photograph every jacket we could possibly squeeze into a suitcase.

It’s the culmination of years of graft, a handful of misprints, big ambitions and even bigger coats. We’re genuinely proud of this one, and we hope that you’ll feel it on every page.
